Attention Sophomores and Juniors: We will be taking a group of students to SIU-C for a college fair that will host 75-90 colleges and will allow these students to talk with colleges about admission/scholarships ect. The trip will be on March 1st and is limited to the fist 45 students that are eligible to attend. Stop by the Guidance Office to sign up and get a permission slip.

Southeastern Illinois Electric is sponsoring the "Youth to Springfield and Youth to Washington. The recipient will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Springfield to meet with our elected Senators and Representatives, as well as an all-expenses paid trip to Washington this summer. Application must be received by March 1, 2012. Recipients will be notified by March 9, 2012. This application process is open to current juniors and seniors.

The library is sponsoring a reading challenge from now
until after spring break. Enter to win weekly prizes.
There will be a grand prize at the end for the student
that has read the most books during the challenge. For
more info see Mrs. Griffith in the library.

Driver ed fees must be paid before you can get your license.
We do not submit your information for your driver's license
until you pay the fee.

Students: With prom approaching, be sure to check the
MHS dance policy. You can find it on the MHS homepage
online. You will need to read it, print it off, have a parent/
guardian sign it along with your signature & turn it in when
you buy tickets.
